  • Ashlee isn't your average rider. She purchased her first street bike at 25 as a reward to herself for paying off her student loans. She started on the road racing scene where she also met her hubby, Gordon, (talk about couple goals!), and after conquering that world with motherhood in tow, she shifted gears to dirt bikes! ️

Thanks to her husband for taking her out on a dirt bike at a track event, which lead Ashlee to riding on and off just at event for the next several years. She finally got her own bike (KTM 200) and has been tearing up Cross Country courses, proving dirt is just another place to win. But racing isn't all – she's a business woman, Regional Manager of Protective Apparel for Cintas Corporation (Fortune 500 company), specializing in arc rated and flame resistant fabric

for the past 16 years! Fueled by her adventurous spirit, Ashlee's inspiring her two little boys to love the sport, with her furry best friend Maverick, by her side every step of the way. When not working or on her bike Ashlee enjoys working out, hiking, running anything to get outdoors.

This powerhouse is a true champion, a mother, a wife, and a two wheel goddess – all rolled into one! Ashlee continues to show us what a determined, powerful and dedicated woman looks like. We are so grateful to have Ashlee and her family as a part of our club.

  • Michelle Martin, one of the first Charter members of our club. She is a Fresno native now residing in Amador County, has been carving her path through dirt for 16 years. She has one grown daughter but her other baby is her KTM Freeride 250 R. When she isn’t on her bike Michelle works as a manicurist and loves the freedom it gives her to go ride.

Her passion lies in conquering challenging trails, navigating rocky terrain, and pushing her limits on the moto track from time to time. Michelle can be found on the trails with her boyfriend or anyone she can convince to go out with her. She has just recently discovered Georgetown and Foresthill. A seasoned rider, Michelle thrives on the thrill of the ride and the camaraderie of the off-road community. She knew this was the sport for her when she dreamt of kick starting her bike the first night she learned to ride.

Beyond her personal pursuits, Michelle dedicates her time to giving back. She is our clubs Event coordinator and actively volunteers at events like Hangtown for the Amateur program and Lilliputian. Whether navigating a technical trail or lending a helping hand, Michelle embodies the spirit of adventure and community that defines the off-road world.

  • I grew up in a very small town, Lake Don Pedro, where the closest grocery stores, schools, anything really, is about a 45-minute drive. There are no stop lights, no freeways, no city night life; just open country, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We grew up hiking, camping, swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, and of course riding dirt bikes. Because of this, we have always been very active in anything outdoors. I met my husband in 5th grade. We started dating senior year in high school and got married in my last year of college. We grew up with the same friends, memories, and experiences which has always been a great bonding experience. In high school I loved math and infrastructure. Although I grew up in a rural community, I had several influential people guide me to my current career path. I researched in high school different careers for math and infrastructure and came across Civil Engineering. On a leap of faith, I applied to several colleges with this major and decided to attend U.C. Davis. While at Davis, I decided to join the Women’s U.C. Davis Rowing Collegiate team and stayed a team member for 2 years. At the time they were a division 1 sport and it helped pay for college. After 2 years, my school workload demands, and Rowing demands were conflicting and I decided to step away from Rowing. I realized in college that I loved construction and loved dirt and asphalt. I learned about Granite Construction and started interning with them my junior year and never left! I have been there for over 12 years now and am currently a project manager and estimator. It has been such a great career and is definitely where I belong. I graduated from UC Davis in 2010 with a Civil Engineering Degree and minor in Construction Engineering and Management. My husband and I have two girls, Brooke (6) and Bria (5). Bria just started racing her PW this year and she absolutely loves it! Among the many great things about Brooke, she was born with Down syndrome and a heart defect. After OHS at 7 months old and a trend of other health issues in her early life, she is a very happy and healthy girl now. Because of Brooke, we have been very active in the local Down syndrome community, and I am currently on the Board for GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento. When our family is not camping or riding, we are always doing some type of activity/event/etc. There is very little downtime in our home, and we love it that way!

I ride a 2021 KX250f. Our family is about team green! I have been riding since 5th grade. My grandpa loved motorcycles and taught the love of it to my dad and uncles. In fact, I have an old family photo of when my dad was a kid with my grandpa, grandma, dad, and uncles, all riding. My grandma rode and so it was never a male sport stigma in our family. My grandma traded her motorcycle in for 4 wheels after she crashed in the desert and broker her hand in her 60s. I grew up riding trails, never raced. My first race was in 2014 with D36. I raced twice and then became pregnant with our first daughter. After she was born, I raced a couple times when on our way to Willseyville I found out we were having our second girl! I raced a few more times after she was born. My husband used to joke that not many riders had to pump breast milk right before a race 😊. Then I tore my ACL in 2018 at the D36 Prairie City race. I had surgery and complications and not until Dec 2020 did they finally fix my knee! Our family started racing on a regular basis this year. I race D36 and OTHG. I am not a big fan of tracks, by my husband loved motocross, so he has been dragging me to the track more often. Since I just started riding a lot more again this year, my goal is just to get seat time and get more and more comfortable on the bike. I started to jump this year and would like to feel confident enough to clear more jumps as well as get over my fear of ridge tops because my husband loves them. My favorite places to ride are Jawbone (been camping there for 21 years!) and Wilson Canyon. We find ourselves always driving far from our home to ride. Our goal is to try more local spots this next year. Between work, the kids, riding/racing, and GiGi’s Playhouse, we have very little spare time for anything else!

  • We are proud to share with you a little about Bria Lasiter our youngest Women Off-Road Riders member. Not only is she the youngest but likely the member that races the most. Bria has been on two wheels since the age of 2 and on a dirt bike since the age of 4……did we mention she is only 7?

What has she done at such a young age?

     Raced Motocross

     Raced Cross Country

     Raced Sac Raceway

 Raced VCGP – YES she did it!

When she isn’t racing, her favorite place to ride is Jawbone! Bria said, “My favorite snack after a race is chocolate and wet food (like Watermelon) because I need stuff to cool me down.”

Bria is a great Big little sister to Brooke, and you can always see them together at the races hanging out when Bria isn’t on the track. She comes from a racing family, Mom Ashley and Dad Joey are both avid racers themselves and are great role models for both Bria and Brooke.

We are lucky to have Bria as a WORR member and it’s a bonus her favorite color is light blue! We are all looking forward to seeing what Bria does in the years to come, on and off the bike. When she does grow up, she would like to be a veterinarian because she likes animals.

  • Melissa is not only the most social of our members, but she is also our clubs first President. When she isn’t working from home, she is making stuff happen for our club.

She is one of the original founders of Women Off-Road Riders. She is not only married to the most awesome man, but also the mother to 2 gorgeous daughters.

Melissa is a lover of all kinds of sports and have been lucky enough to have attended everything from soccer to waterpolo, UFC to Motocross. She is also the craftiest person I know.

She was introduced to dirt bikes in 2001 when she married Jason. She finally started to ride herself in November of 2019 when she took a lesson and soon after got her first bike a Honda CRF250F. Now with a couple years under her belt, she just purchased a 2021 Beta 300 XTrainer. Welcome to the Two Stroke Crew Melissa!

  • Kristen is one of WORR Charter members and is on the Bi-law committee. She was raised in California’s Central Valley and has been married to Brandon for 22 years. They live in a small community in the foothills.

Not only does she and her husband ride dirt bikes, but the also ride DRZs on the street and take tandem bicycle rides on the trails around a nearby lake. After recovering from a bad street bike accident,

Kristen surprised her husband with the purchase of plated bikes for his birthday. She rides a KTM 350 EXF and he, a KTM 500EXC. Neither of them had been on the dirt in 20 yrs.

Since that day, she has been punching her skills card and gaining more confidence in technical terrain. Kristen has been a Charter member since December of 2020.

  • Megan has been immersed in the dirt bike world since she was young girl in Wheatland. She and her husband, a former flat track racer, have been raising their children with the love for dirt bikes.

She herself just got back into riding 5 years ago as a way to stay connected with her son as he was getting ready to graduate highschool.

She rides a Beta 200rr and loves it!! She has been racing D36 cross country for about two years and has really kicked some butt.

When her and her husband aren’t riding the trails of NorCal and Nevada, she enjoys kayaking. Megan been one of our active charter members for the last 11 months.

  • This is Cyndi or as we like to call her Sendi. She’s a native of Illinois and moved out here to Northern California with her daughter, for a fresh start after a health scare.

She works for Sacramento Regional Transit driving a 40ft bus, wow! She got into riding when she started to date her boyfriend, who races motocross.

She’s on a 2017 CRF150F. Although Cyndi has no intention of racing, she has raced two with Sierra Over The Hill Gang and has recently raced her first D36 cross country race.

She joined WORR back in March of 2021 to find women with her same passion for two wheels and to explore trail riding. Cyndi is the most compassionate person and has a heart of gold.

She is everyone’s cheerleader and can be found on the sidelines of the local races routing everyone on. Thank you, Cyndi, for your undying passion and your tears of joy.

  • Crystal is 28 yrs old and joined our club in May of 2021. She may have a huge girlie side but she definitely isn’t afraid of getting dirty.

As a hairdresser for the last 10 years, she is in the hub of beauty, making women feel good about themselves and admittedly getting great pleasure from her profession.

She is definitely following the steps of her father with the love moto. As a young girl, she would ride with her dad and she grew to love the sport in all its disciplines.

As an adult she came back to riding, finding herself even more in love with the sport. After the tragic loss of her fiancé, she has found more comfort and support in joining our club and said it has helped her get through a very emotional time in her life.

Crystal, we all think the world of you and enjoy you being a valued member and consider you a close friend.
